It’s the early 2000’s. A Paris-born artist named Aurelyen is traveling South-America, and promptly falls in love with Peru. He meets a small group of seamstresses in Lima, and decides to take on a challenge. Together they start the Misericordia project, which they envision to become a high-end fashion brand by and for Peruvians. More so than a high-end brand, Misericordia is a local and social work program. Nowadays the project employs 20 men and women in their own workshop, creating simple, beautiful and refined pieces.
